This is an original/first print poster that was used to promote the 1969
Northern California Folk-Rock Festival. This event took place May
23-25, 1969 (the "Summer of Festivals") at the Santa Clara County
Fairgrounds.
Featured acts at the 1969 Northern California Folk-Rock Festival were The
Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, Eric Burdon,
Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Youngbloods, Spirit, Canned Heat, Chambers
Brothers, Santana, Elvin Bishop, Steve Miller, Taj Mahal & Blues Image.

This is the only poster that I have ever seen with Jimi Hendrix & Led
Zeppelin on the same billing. I am about 99% sure it is the only one
"out there".
This poster measures approx. 14" x 20 1/2", and was printed on a
sturdy/coated (not glossy) index stock. The terrific psychedelic
artwork is courtesy of Linda Segul.
In addition to the poster we have available in NM condition, we also have
one that we can offer at a lesser price with minor border flaws. It
is still a very nice poster, and would frame beautifully. If you are

We understand that on a valuable poster such as this, collectors will want
assurances that this is the "real deal". This poster was purchased
directly from the promoter, Bob Blodgett, who guaranteed that he had not
reprinted this poster. We believe him, as this poster would be all
over the place (with Jimi & Zeppelin on the bill) if there were reprints
available. However, it's not. We rarely see them.
