Unlike most of the
early Family Dog posters, the FD 6 was not reprinted. This is
probably due to the fact that these shows were cancelled. The original/first print poster was printed on vellum stock, and measures approx. 14" x 20" The original handbill was printed prior to the shows on very thin paper. It measures approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". In 1980 the original handbill was forged. The bootleg differs from the original ihandbill n the detail and quality of the printing. This is most evident in the "We" of "Wes Wilson". On the original, these two letters are quite clear and distinct. On the bootleg they are virtually indistinguishable...just a small mass of black ink. |
