Sixties Posters Fillmore Poster BG-216 Grateful Dead

	One of the classic images of the psychedelic era, featuring a "robo-man" running on top of a mushroom. The appearance of the Grateful Dead has only enhanced the popularity of this poster. The original/first print poster measures approx. 14" X 22". On this poster there is a faint, curving line that appears on the poster about 3/4" below the "D" in "DEAD". The line is mostly vertical, and is about 1 1/2" in length. It looks as if there was a hair on the printing plate during the run of first print posters. The second print poster, an authorized reprint, also measures approx. 14" X 22". The aforementioned line does not appear on this poster, which was printed sometime before 1975. The original postcard, printed prior to the shows, measures approx. 4 1/2" X 7 1/8", and has a calendar of Bill Graham events on the reverse of the card. A double postcard, measuring approx. 7 1/8" x 9 1/4", was also printed of this image and BG 214. There is a bulk rate permit on the reverse of the BG 216 image on this card, so any BG 216 card with a bulk rate back has been cut from a double card.
